Objective: Sprite was beginning their web journey and had no real standards for any online work as of yet. So it was an exciting time for a designer to come in and really be able to set the standard for their creative work. Role: I was part of a team of three designers walking the tightrope between excellent new creative work and concepts that were so out of the box that they would be too much of a stretch to be considered 'Sprite.' So trying to give the client something new, but not too new, was a three month ordeal that resulted in the final work seen above. That logo was seen on nationally televised commercials for the 'Buy Sprite, Get RocketCash' campaign, as well as on all bottles and packaging. Statement: The concepts began very far out and conceptual and narrowed in until the client was satisfied. The final result was a product of intense debate internally and also with the Sprite legal and branding departments. Overall I really enjoyed the experience and look forward to any time I can get to work on corporate identity or branding. Status: The logo was seen on nationally televised commercials for the 'Obey Your Thirst' campaign, as well as on all bottles and packaging.
